Canada’s largest Mexican-inspired quick service restaurant has added a new menu item to its ready-to-eat repertoire. In December, Taco Bell introduced the Black Jack Taco, retailing for $1.39.
A twist on the restaurant’s classic favourite, the Black Jack Taco’s shell gets its appearance from jet black corn. When filled with seasoned beef, shredded lettuce, a blend of three cheeses and then topped with zesty pepper jack sauce, this crunchy taco is one of the season’s hottest new items.
Started in 1981, with one restaurant in Ontario, Taco Bell Canada is part of Yum! Brands Inc., the world’s largest restaurant company with more than 36,000 restaurants in upwards of 110 countries and territories. Today, Taco Bell Canada has grown to 175 Canadian units spread over seven provinces.
